Intrepid hunters new and seasoned will traverse dynamically evolving hunting grounds equipped with the series' iconic 14 weapons as they face off against increasingly formidable foes. Squad up with friends or go it alone to become the apex predator in the Forbidden Lands. Happy hunting!
"When we released World, we felt we had achieved everything we set out to do with an expanded Monster Hunter experience," said Game Director Yuya Tokuda. "As we started to develop Wilds, we realized we had only scratched the surface of what was possible when you put these otherworldly creatures into a living, breathing world. Wilds is by far our most ambitious title yet, and we can't wait for players to enjoy what we've created next year."
Key Features
New additions and quality-of-life features have been implemented to make this the most expansive and accessible Monster Hunter title to date.
Keep Your Seikrets: Call upon your animal mount, the Seikret, to blaze across fields, gather materials, and sniff out menacing monsters. Each hunter has access to these furry friends and can use their weapons, sling, whetsones, and more while mounted.
A Living World: Every hunting locale is a realistic ecosystem where blue skies can transform into oppressive lightning storms in the blink of an eye. Creatures seen in the wilds reflect the harsh environments they've been born and raised in. Hunters must take these hostile conditions into account to ensure their survival.
Stay Focused: Using the brand new Focus Mode, hunters can pinpoint a monster's weakness, line up their attacks or guards, and unleash powerful strikes to break parts and open wounds.
The Fight Goes On: Instead of being sent back to Headquarters after a successful quest, hunters can stay partied up as they tackle new objectives in seamless online multiplayer. Additionally, SOS flares can be deployed for support hunters to help out in particularly hairy battles.
